This or Mama Carrabba's are the only locations I will visit. The ones not owned by the family have definitely lost their way. Service, food, and ambience are always top notch. I have never had a bad meal. Not the cheapest Italian food, but definitely delicious.
I tell my kids all the time - it's not that you mess up, it's what you do after the mess up that defines you. We hosted a large family dinner and Carrabba's made a mistake on the delivery. Not a big one, but a real one. Their response was amazing. They hand delivered the right item within 15 minutes. So over the top good! I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Carraba's on Kirby is always a must when visiting Houston with the family! This amazing restaurant offers a classic Italian food menu, and they use real and fresh ingredients on all of their dishes. My go-to order is their Pollo Rosa, which is a chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and fontina, with a mushroom basil butter sauce and served with fettuccine Alfredo. This dish is more on the saltier side because of the prosciutto, so just keep that in mind when ordering it. Their pizzas are also delicious and my kid absolutely loves them. Besides the amazing food the service here is outstanding! I can assure you that you won't find this level of care and attention anywhere else. All the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience and that is absolutely priceless. Thank you Carrabba's for the amazing food and amazing time!
Lemon drop martini was on point! I had the grilled quail with Parmesan asparagus and roasted potatoes! Everyone's food looked delicious!
The staff here is amazing! Our waiter was always on top of stuff and spot on with his recommendations. We tried the 2 appetizers he suggested, and they were so good. My brother in law, who is picky, said it was the best calamari he has had. We got the fried calamari/shrimp, and the shrimp osiel. The osiel was my favorite because the shrimp had some great flavor to it, especially with the bread. I ordered a limited time entree, the pappardelle with chicken and sausage, and it had one of the best lemon butter sauces with it. I wish it was on the menu always. I also tried the chicken Bryan which tasted great, and the goat cheese had a little smokey flavor to it. This was an awesome place to eat at, and while it is a high-end restaurant, it gives some cozy vibes. Just expect to spend a good amount of $$ coming here.
I adore this place! It is amazing!!! It is better than other Carrabba's. The quality of the food is incredible. When I go I like to get the pasta Carrabba, which has is fettuccine Alfredo style with mushrooms, peas and grilled chicken. My boyfriend likes to get their chicken dishes, which always tastes great. Their salads are great and I would highly recommend the mamma Sicilian chicken soup, it is divine! The service is great and I always enjoy coming here.
This by far is the best Carrabba's. Service is impeccable. Food was outstanding. Wine selection great. I had the Linguini with Clams. The amount of clams was wonderful and the flavors were wonderful. The fresh made pasta anchored the whole dish. I opted for the Carraba's house salad instead of the fennel sausage soup. Everything paired nicely with Cakebread chardonnay. The parking is Valet only and that makes it nice to be able to leave with your car brought to you.
The Original Carrabba's is a world apart from the Carrabba's chain locations you see around town. The menu and food choices are delicious. So many items are homemade and you can definitely tell the difference. For comparison sakes, I've always said you can judge a Mexican restaurant by the chips/salsa. Well, you can judge an Italian restaurant by their calamari. TOC has delicious calamari. It is prepared to perfection. Everything else I had there is also delicious. It's a higher end restaurant and the staff and service are impeccable. There is limited self parking on the grounds of the restaurant. There are limited handicap spots on the grounds of the restaurant. They do have valet parking available. There is street parking and a parking garage directly across the street which helps with the overflow. Bottom line - Excellent Italian restaurant that is way better than the chains that are located in the suburbs. Simply no comparison. This is a must try when you're looking for good Italian food.
A few of my friends and our wives met for dinner last nite. One of them frequent this restaurant and he made the reservation. When you arrive unless you find street parking, you will have to valet. It's only five dollars. Once inside, we arrive to our table and sat down and had drinks. One of the appetizers we ordered was shrimp osiel. It was it was delicious. It was golden fried shrimp tossed in a garlic herb butter sauce with asparagus, roasted red bell peppers, and jumbo lump crabmeat, served with garlic toast. We all had a variety of dishes, but I had the meatball appetizer, house salad and pasta carrabba. It was in the HRW menu. I was impressed with the service as well as the food. We had a great time and hung around until they were closing and we had to leave. It each my first visit and I will definitely come back in the future.
Oh boy, hold onto your taste buds, because Carrabba's - The Original is like a flavor carnival for your mouth! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aromas of Italy and the promise of culinary adventure. First off, let's talk about those sauces. I'm convinced they must have a secret sauce wizard hidden in the kitchen because every sauce is like a work of art in a bowl. I'd bathe in that marinara if I could, but I won't, because that would be weird... right? And don't even get me started on the seafood, which tastes like it was just plucked from the ocean and perfectly seasoned. Fresh, succulent, and swimming in flavor (pun absolutely intended). But it's not just about the food, oh no. The atmosphere is as warm and inviting as your grandma's kitchen (if your grandma was a master chef, that is). The staff? They're helpful in ensuring your dining experience is equally as awesome as the food. If authentic super delicious Italian food is your thing, you'll want to return over and over, and often too. Buon appetito!
